Originally from Brookings, South Dakota, Fenner was a music educator in the Cincinnati Tri-State area for three years. She has experience teaching children of all ages, including elementary music, middle school choir, and high school choir.

Fenner is a soprano with experience in a variety of styles and repertoires. She performs with ensembles such as Dallas Bach Society, Orpheus Chamber Singers, Osanna Chamber Ensemble, Saint Michael and All Angels Compline Choir, and Opera Arlington. She received her undergraduate degree in Music Education from Augustana University and a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance with a related field in early music from the University of North Texas.
