Kelly Pfaffenberger, Youth Chorus Conductor
Kelly Pfaffenberger joined the artistic staff in 2009. She has been a choral music educator in Texas for over 25 years, serving middle school, high school, church, and college musicians. She is currently the head choral director at Creekview High School in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. Recipient of the 2022 Texas Choral Directors Association Choral Excellence Award, choirs under her direction have been selected to perform at the Southwestern Division Conference of the American Choral Directors Association. Pfaffenberger has served as an adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University and Dallas Christian College. She also serves as collaborative pianist for choral programs throughout the Dallas metroplex and is a frequent adjudicator and clinician. Pfaffenberger holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Hardin-Simmons University and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of North Texas.
